Hello Everyone,

Just a quick message to inform you all how well Fresh Minerals Make-up Is going as everybody who trys it seems to love it as it gives off that lovely radiant glow!

We also did some training on saturday for the HD Brows which went really well and i would like to say thank-you to all the models who came and how grateful we are for them coming.

FRESH MINERALS
Mineral make-up is that pure that it is applied straight onto areas that have either had treatments such as Permanent Make-up, Microderm-abraisons, Peels, laser treatment or even plastic surgery. Hi Everyone,

Here is a before and after picture of an HD brow that i have done, so that you can all see what sort of results you can get from this NEW treatment.

This treatment consists of using advanced skills in tinting, waxing, tweezing, threading and shaping.

The treatment costs £30.00 and takes approximately half an hour.

Here is a step by step:

Steps 1 and 2. Preparation and Assessment- This is where we will look at your face shape and advice you on what sort of shape eyebrow will suit your face best but we will also listen to what the client wants as well.

We will look at what hair growth you have present so we can see what we have to work with.

We will train your brows in to the shape and we will break the tradition rules and remove any unnecessary hair from the top.

Step 3. Tinting - This is where we will tint not only your hair but also your skin so you can get a better look at how your shape should be.

Step 4. Waxing - This is where we will remove majority of hair from above and below the eyebrow to get that better, neater finish.

Step 5. Threading - To get rid of any hair that comes down from your hair line to your eyebrows. (Downy Hair)

Step 6. Tweezing - To Sharpen up the shape after waxing and threading and to also get rid of any stray hairs.

Step 7. Finish - This is where we wipe any access tint. We will also apply Fresh minerals foundation around the brow area to eliminate redness. If there are any gaps in the brow we will fill in with the HD brows professional powder and give advice on any necessary regrowth and aftercare. Then we will apply some HD Brow serum.

Update On Courses I Have Been

Hi Guys,

Been awhile since updated you all, Been very busy! Not only being pregnant and work really busy, i have been on a few courses.

One of the courses was a colour theory day which was very interestng and informative.
Nouvea Contour have launched their NEW colours and have wondeful vibrant colours to choose from; Brow colours that dont pull red! and a black that stays black... we will see about that though =)
so if you was one of the older clients who wore a red/salmon brown, Do Not Fear Lisa Is Here, i will colour boost with a green base brow!

DONT FORGET FOLKS!! your advised to have a colour boost/ Re-touch once every 12 to 18 months! REMEMBER i go on maternity leave in November!!

Second Course was for HD BROWS, again at Nouvea Contours head office in Pontifract.
High Definition Brows is a 7 step procedure which shapes, defines, and created eyerows with the use of advanced skills in; Tinting, Shaping, Waxing, Tweezing and Threading.

This is the ideal treatment for most brows. For people who dont have any or who hardly have any brows, who would like to see what their brows would look like bt are apprehensive to have them cosmetically tattooed(permanent make-up / Semi-permanent make-up) and for people who have got brows where the shape is incorrect for their face shape. Also peoples who brows have bee shaped for years by a therapist and have kind of lost their way.

This is a fantastic treatment that ALL the celebrities are having so be one of the first to be up there with the stars!
The treatment costs £30.00 and it takes approximately half an hour!!!

Nouvea Contour Seminar

Hi Guys!
Well i did say i would inform you on my 2009's Nouvea Contour Seminar and from what i did see and hear at the seminar was of excellent knowledge. Unfortunately i was ill, and had to leave at 12pm. I'm very disappointed as the day looked as though it was going to be very informative.

It was nice to see all the gang again from Nouvea Contour and i look forward to doing some advanced courses with them later on in the year. The courses i am intending to complete this year are:-

• Colour Expert and Advanced Techniques.
• Blood born viruses and understanding anesthetics.
• Self assurance shadowing.
• Advanced Ethnic skin workshop.
• Portfolio and Photography.

Permanent Make-Up

May i just point out a few things - to all new clients thinking of having a permanent make-up treatment...

"I have been practicing as a Permanent Make-Up artist for the last 15 years and i can honestly say that i am performing more correction work now than than i ever have from badly designed, or incorrect use of colours from other peoples work."

Update on the 'Ladies that Lunch' Charity Event

After attending the 'Ladies That Lunch' Charity Event to raise money for Cancer Research , i can honestly say, what an enjoyable and eventfull day it turned out to be.
Even though i was working promoting Permanent Make-up the day flew by...

There were many stands all diffrent, interesting businesses, to view and chat with, a three course lunch, which was delicious!! followed by three speakers, one of which was myself (and what a good job i did..!) A fashion show, Raffles and an auction, and last but not least a suprise 'Full Monty' from some young-fellas that had volounteered, Bless!! It was Fun!

So for all of you that didnt make it this year put your name down for the next one!
I will keep you all informed of the date!!
